Straight answers, no fine print
Is the app in English?
The AI is: it answers your customers in English, Spanish or other languages, depending on how they write and the instructions you give it. The app's menus, however, are in Portuguese for now. The screens are simple and the demo video walks you through each one. An English version is in development.
What does it run on?
Windows 10 and 11. Zap Mágico is an app you download and install on your computer. There is no Mac, Linux or mobile version yet.
Do I need to install anything?
Yes. Download the installer, install it on your PC and connect your WhatsApp by scanning the QR code with your phone, just like WhatsApp Web.
Does it really work 24/7?
It works as long as your computer is on, connected to the internet and running Zap Mágico. If the PC shuts down, automatic replies stop until you turn it back on.
Does the AI cost anything on top of the license?
Yes, and you should know this upfront. The AI uses your own API key (OpenRouter, Gemini, OpenAI or DeepSeek), and that provider bills you for usage, separately from the license. The cost depends on your chat volume and the model you pick; some providers offer free models with limits. The shared inbox, CRM and automations work even without AI.
Can my number get blocked?
It can, and no honest app can promise otherwise. Zap Mágico connects through WhatsApp Web using an unofficial API, and WhatsApp may restrict numbers that send messages outside its rules. To lower that risk, the app includes number warm-up, varied intervals between messages, automatic pauses and a daily sending limit. The intended use is customer service: replying to people who message you.
Can I message any list of contacts?
No. Only use Zap Mágico with contacts who gave you permission, such as customers and people who asked for information. Messaging bought lists or people without consent breaks WhatsApp's rules and the data protection and anti-spam laws in your country, and greatly increases the risk of being blocked.
How does the free trial work?
Download the app and use it for 24 hours without paying and without a card. If you like it, buy a license and activate it on the same computer.
How do I pay from my country?
The reference price is US$ 39 per year, as a single yearly payment. Payment in your local currency is coming soon; in the meantime, you can use the free 24h trial.
How do I activate the license?
After purchase you get a code by email in the format ZM-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. In the app, open the "Licença" (License) screen, paste the code and click "Ativar" (Activate).
Can I use it on more than one computer?
Each license activates 1 PC. Another computer needs another license. On a single PC you can connect more than one WhatsApp account.
Where is my data stored?
On your computer. Chats, contacts and settings are stored locally and API keys are kept encrypted. Back up your PC as usual.
